 cience festival comes to Belgium for the first time to bring you the best 
 of Belgian science\, delivered directly to your local bar. To celebrate an
 d to give you a taste of the cerebral joys to come\, Pint of Science Belgi
 um brought together top scientists from all over the country for a special
  launch event on 17 April at ViaVia Café in Brussels.\n\n\nJoin us from 1
 9:30 for a relaxed evening of science and fun hosted by long time Pint of 
 Science friend Lieven Scheire.\nOn the menu:\n\n 	How forensic science ac
 tually works\, with Prof. Dieter Deforce (University of Ghent). Spoiler 
 alert: probably not as in "CSI Miami".\n 	The mathematics of digital image
 s in your everyday life\, with Prof. Ann Dooms (Vrije Universiteit Bruss
 el).\n 	The hunt for exoplanets in the far far away TRAPPIST -1 system wit
 h Emmanuël Jehin (University of Liège).\n 	A peek into the programme o
 f the upcoming festival\, of course.\n 	Pints of whatever makes you happy\
 , and waffles! Ok\, MAYBE some waffles. No promises.\n\n\n\n\nENTRANCE IS 
 FREE BUT REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIs it for me? You do 
 not need to be a scientist to understand or enjoy the talks. Pint of Scien
 ce aims to make science accessible to all. If you want to have a nice even
 ing\, meet interesting people\, get a couple of drinks and learn something
  in the process\, this is for you!\n\nWhat is this festival? The festival
  was born in 2014 in the UK and never stopped growing since\, to reach 21 
 participating countries this year. It will take place on 14\, 15 and 16 Ma
 y simultaneously all around the world\, including in the Belgian cities of
  Brussels\, Ghent\, Liège\, Leuven\, Antwerp\, Louvain-La-Neuve and Bruge
 s. It is the perfect occasion for you to meet scientist in flesh and have
